The Craft & Hobby Association’s Mega Conference & Trade Show is one of my favorite events of the year! As a Blogger, it helps keep my finger on the pulse of what is new and relevant for the coming year. As a Crafter/Designer/Instructor, it provides a treasure trove of information on how best to use all of the new products that are introduced during the year as well as lots of tips and tricks from the experts who actually created those products! The good news is that I can then Share Them with YOU! And after all, for me, It’s always All About YOU! You truly are the reason for this blog!
Now…I’m not gonna lie…You know I love me my Tim! (aka: Tim Holtz, “My Boyfriend,” my Craft Crush, a Crafter Extraordinaire!) and being able to stalk him for DAYS is enough of a reason to attend! BUT…there really are so many talented people teaching classes on both the Art of Crafting and the Business side of Crafting.
Here’s a “Who’s Who” montage from last year. You can view the post HERE to check out some of the fun classes and projects.

Oh, Cathy, can I join you in stocking Tim at the upcoming show!! LOL He’s wonderful. Cathy, I’m a paper crafter who uses my “must have” tool, my die-cutting machine, every day. I’m so addicted to crafting that I craft every day, and some times all day long! I may not post to my website every day, but you can count on me crafting daily. I’ve encouraged others to participate in the CHA blog hop through tweets at https://twitter.com/guneauxdesigns . Have a wonderful time at the show!
Hi, Beverly! Yes! I will share Tim with you! LOL! He really does LOVE this craft and that shows through in all his demos at the show. I’ve been doing this 20 years and I STILL learn new things from him! Thanks for dropping by today. 😀
Loving this hop!
My go to is adhesive – liquid, dots, runners. I cannot do anything without them.

Gelli plate!!!
I use it for making papers for bookbinding and to make greeting cards…it is too much fun!
Hmmmm – Gelli plate! I haven’t used that yet! 🙂
I scrapbooker and I am a card maker. It took some thought, but the tool I just can’t live without is my paper trimmer
Hi, Joan! Yes – The paper trimmer is awesome!
Hope you have a WONDERFUL time at CHA, meeting up with old friends (& idols) making new ones too 🙂
PS – I can’t live without my self healing craft mat, it is part of every project I create. I use the cutting side to cut, the grid on the cutting side to align and the reverse side for when I am adhering layers together AND as a sturdy base for my Big Shot when I’m die cutting and embossing too => YES, it is an AWESOME tool!!!
Thanks, Tracy! I use mine too. 🙂
I love the embossing folders. A classy way to upgrade simple cards.
Yes, Joan! Me too! I think that is truly one of my favorite tools. 🙂
