As promised, here are the Handmade Holiday Cards from this year.
Sadly, I accidentally ordered less cards than I needed this year! :-O So…I created a few Handmade Cards for some friends and fellow Crafters. This one has all the things I love – simplicity, shimmer & glimmer and no stamping! LOL! The cards use Glimmer Paper and a Thinlit Die along with a glimmer Ribbon. Here’s another version of it…
The original card featured the negative on Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. You can see that blog post HERE. The cards above were created with the word “Joy” that was cut out.
Once the card was finished, I smudged the sentiment on the inside so I had to improvise by stamping the greeting on another piece of card stock and then using a die cut from Chalk Talk Framelits to cut it out.
To create the border, use the framelit to cut out a small piece of Black Glimmer Paper and reassemble it behind your greeting.
I love this Northern Lights Christmas Card that was created by Teresa Stufano.
Jean Conroy created this adorable Gingerbread Christmas Card. So clever!
Dawn Sugar always has fun Holiday Photo Cards like this one of Santa’s Pants.
Jenn Turoff’s Card was created with non-traditional Holiday Colors. 🙂
Michele Smith‘s Card uses non-traditional colors also. She cut out the snowmen and popped them up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The next two come from an International Card Club that I belong to. The first is from Linda Costa
and this one from Winnie Schatts comes all the way from the Netherlands!
You’ve already seen this beauty from Sharon Abrams. You can see the Blog Post HERE of her fabulous Snowy Scene Ornament.
I tape all of my Holiday Cards to the Sliding Glass Doors in my kitchen. They’re my favorite decoration and the last thing I take down after the Holidays and then I save them ’cause I can’t bear to throw them away.
Here’s another card I created. This one uses the Poinsettia Punch. I had left-over flowers from the Book Club Holiday Dinner Decorations. You can see that blog post with more photos HERE.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my Holiday Kitchen! Check back for “The Best of the Blog 2015.”
