I love anything Vintage and especially things that remind me of Italy. Gesso Fresco resembles the ancient plaster you see when visiting very old buildings. I love it! Lots of new restaurants recreate it to give the same feel to their walls. This card incorporates Distress Crayons into the technique. These are first attempts so keep that in mind. 😉
- Dina Wakley White Gesso
- The base card is SU Black Card Stock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″
- Corrugated Card Stock was inked in Ranger Ground Espresso Distress Ink.
- Distress Crayons used: Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Rusty Hinge.
- Distress Inks used: Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Rusty Hinge, Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso.
- The Idea-Ology Word Band was altered using Tarnished Brass Distress Paint and Black Soot Distress Paint.
- Mini Stencils used: Gears (#1), Bubble (#1), Clockworks (#2), Traveler (#15)

- Dina Wakley White Gesso
- Distress Crayons: Fossilized Amber, Festive Berries, Rusty Hinge, Chipped Saphire, Peeled Paint, Seedless Preserves.
- Mini Stencils: Bubble (#1), Cargo (#1), Stars (#11), Zig Zag (#12)
Side by side, you can see the similarities but, depending on the colors and stencils you use, you can get a very different looking result!
