The fall makes me happy!  Halloween is just another excuse for me to use fall colors. 😉  The spider web is a new Stencil from My Favorite Things.  I like it ’cause it’s BIG!  It’s perfect for embossing paste but I was not in a patient mood today so I just sponged Black Soot Distress Ink through the Stencil.

• Base card is SU! Elegant Eggplant Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – Scored and folded at 4-1/4″.
• The background piece is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ Specialty Stamping Paper with an Alcohol Background created using Orange Blossom Archival Ink.  You can see a Tutorial HERE.
• Black Soot Distress Ink was sponged through the Web Stencil from My Favorite Things.  It was then heat set.
• The  spider from the SU! Batty For You Stamp Set was stamped onto a scrap from the Alcohol Background piece and cut out.  Black Glitter Glass was applied to the spider with 2-Way Glue.  A piece of Black twine was attached behind the spider and over the top of the Alcohol Background piece.  The spider was attached to the center of the Web using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Outrageously Orange Craft Metal was used to punch 3 Ovals using  SU’s Large Oval Punch.  Backing Paste was used behind the ovals.  Once dry, they were layered on top of each other to create the Pumpkin.  It was attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Green wire was wrapped around a stick and adhered behind the Craft Metal Pumpkin with Glue Dots.
• “Happy Halloween” from the SU! And Many More Stamp Set was stamped in Archival Ink onto the background piece.
• Black Lace Ribbon was tied into a Double Bow using the “How to tie a double bow using your fingers” technique and attached to the front of the card with Glue Dots. (You can see a Tutorial HERE.)
• A 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock was adhered to the inside of the card.
