Is it really almost August? Wow! We just got back from our family vacation! I didn't bring any of my goodies with me this time so I I'm ready to get back to Paper Crafting! This morning, I did a Scallop Circle card in a retro style. Not my usual – but I like it once in a while! This card is going out to a friend today. Enjoy! Supplies are listed below :-D
Supplies: Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Card Stocks; Perfect Plum DSP from Subtles Designer Series Paper Pack; Crumb Cake DSP from Neutrals Designer Series Paper Pack; Everything Eleanor Stamp Set; Versamark, Crumb Cake and Perfect Plum Ink Pads; "Friends" from Tiny Tags Stamp Set; Clear Embossing Powder; Heat Tool; Victoria Crochet Trim; Basic Pearls; Big Shot; 4 1/2" Scallop Circle Die; 4" Circle Die; Aqua Painter; Stampin' Dimensionals; Mini Glue Dots; Snail Adhesive; Stampin' Sponge; Smooch Spritz Shimmer Spray
Flowers were stamped in Perfect Plum Classic Ink and then colored in using an Aqua Painter and Crumb Cake Ink. They were then accented with more Perfect Plum Ink (Aqua Painted) and then spritzed with Smooch Spritz Spray, cut out and popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. The centers were accented with graduating sized pearls from the Basic Pearl Sheet.
LOvely card. My mom love the colors. Come and stop by when you get a chance.
HI Cathy,
Beautiful card!
Beautiful card, Cathy! I love Everything Eleanor and your colour palette is inspiring, too.

Thanks so much!
This is stunning! Thanks so much for sharing and for the inspiration!
Awwww…thanks sooo much, Carole! What a huge compliment! I appreciate it! I’m glad you liked it! 😀
love this card but could you tell me how to make the circle card…how do you join the back and front without making two separate pieces ..confused
love to hear from you
regards Beryl
Beautiful!
Hi, Beryl!
Thanks! The circle is cut by first folding your card stock and positioning it so that the top is BELOW the CUT line of the top of the Scallop Circle Die. Then, cut another circle in the same color and just adhere it to the front so that it appears as if the card is whole.
If that doesn’t make sense, let me know and I can take some photos for you.
😀
Cathy, what a beautiful card! The scallop circle fits the design well and I love the color palette.
thanks for info , now fired up and ready to try it .very inspired.regards Beryl
I really love your card. Thanks for posting instructions on how to make it look like it was cut out just like the scallop. So pretty.
Thanks, Patricia!
I’m glad you like it! If you have any questions when creating it, just drop me an email.
