They say Variety is the Spice of Life! While I would love to keep all of you to myself, I understand that you want to see different styles and perspectives using Stampin' Up! products. Because of that, I participate in SUDSOL Blog Tours from time to time. SUDSOL is a fabulous resource for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators! It has everything we need to be at the top of our game and bring our customers the best of everything! (For your FREE 2 WEEK SUDSOL TRIAL, Click on the Blog Tour Banner Below.)
Think of this Tour as a little Project Party where you'll get LOTS of ideas in one day! The "party" for ME is that I have the pleasure of hosting many of you who are not regular followers of mine! So, WELCOME! It is a pleasure to have each of you stop by my blog today! I hope you enjoy the projects! (All products are listed at the end of the project.) Feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post. Enjoy! 🙂
This card celebrates all things BIG SHOT! It uses Framelits to create a heart shaped card and decorations as well as an Embossing Folder and Sizzlit for lots of texture and detail.
Start out by folding your card stock in half and placing on your cutting plate with the framelit JUST BELOW the score line so that it does not get cut when you pass it through the Big Shot. This will give you a "card."
To complete the design, you'll have to cut a full scalloped heart out of another piece of card stock and attach it to the front of the "card." Before you attach it, run it through the Big Shotusing the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Folder and then sandwich the "arrow" between the hearts so that when it is adhered you will have a piece of the arrow sticking out of the top and piece sticking out of the bottom.
The Arrow is 1/2" x 7 1/2" for the "stick" with the tip punched using 1 3/8" Square Punch and then folded on the diagonal. Sandwich the "stick" prior to adhering the tip.
To decorate the card, rub the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad across the raised portions of the heart and allow to dry. (You can use your Heat Tool to speed up drying time.) The Paper Doily Sizzlit is cut out of Very Vanilla Card Stock and attached to the front of of the card. Trim off a portion of the doily. The hearts are cut using the Hearts Framelitss. The Vanilla heart is run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Folder.
Other Supplies: Cherry Cobbler Card Stock: Very Vanilla Card Stock: Basic Black Card Stock: Forever and Always (from Loving Thoughts Stamp Set) stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto a piece of 5/8" x 5 1/2" Very Vanilla Card Stock. The "banner" edge was cut using the 1" Square Punch. Basic Pearl Jewels decorate the tip of the arrow and the heart. Adhesives: Snail Adhesive Refill; Two Way Glue Pen; Stampin' Dimensionals and Sticky Strip.
I love little candy treats and using Window Sheets to create them is one of my favorite things to do! This one was cut using the Big Shot and the Two Tags Die with a piece of Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. The mini Hershey Bar is wrapped with a piece of More Amore Designer Series Paper with two little coordinating hearts glued on.
If Ghirardelli Chocolate is your snack of choice, you can slip it in to the treat holder without making any size adjustments! Gotta love that!
I am absolutely LOVING the new Soda Pop Tops!!!!! They're so fun to use! This is a necklace I created by flattening the Soda Pop Top by sandwiching it between two cutting plates and running it throught the Big Shot with my Multi-Purpose Platform on Tab 2. I added Pearl Basic Jewels around the stamped image before I coered it in Crystal Effects. After punching a tiny hole using a 1/16" punch, I added a jump ring and then a simple ball chain.
Supplies: Soda Pop Tops; Big Shot; Collage Curios Stamp Set; Crumb Cake Ink; Cherry Cobbler Ink; Itty Bitties Wood Mount Stamp Set; Basic Pearl Jewels; 1/16" Punch.
