I love Mondays! It's like a clean slate. I had to do a masculine card for a friend today so I used the houndstooth paper from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Pack. What a great value! Lots of papers in all different designs for any occasion! This card uses different textures to create interest while remaining simple.

I just received my MDS Christmas Cards! Wooo hooo! I'm excited! I created these cards using My Digital Studio. It was pretty simple! I "cheated" because I created a 5 x 7 card and put the same images on both pages so I ended up with one card that could be split in two for 2 post cards! Two for the price of one! Yes! It's so fun to save money!
Also – it's not too late to sign up for my 12-DAY HOLIDAY HELPER! Get 12 great Holiday Gift Giving Ideas delivered right to your IN box! Just click on "Join My Mailing List" in the upper left corner and you'll begin receiving them next week!
So, here's how I did it…I put the picture and the greeting on the front of pages 1 and 3. On pages 2 and 4, I put the photo UPSIDE DOWN so that it would be in the correct orientation for a post card. I then sent them to the Stampin' Up! printing service and a few days later, they're on my door step!
This is the front of the "card" (above) and the back of the "card" (below)

When I cut them on the score line, I have two identical post cards with the picture of my kids on the front and the house on the back! Woo hoo!

If you don't have MDS, you can download a FREE TRIAL copy NOW and get started! Enjoy!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today's card is Lacy and Flowery – which is usually not my style but I kinda like it! 😉 Often, others can look at a card and say: "Oh! That's Cathy's!" - And that's great, but sometimes when you're making Cards for others, considering their style will get you out of your Paper Crafting Comfort Zone! Enjoy!
