Forever and Always Wedding Card

So…you know I've been making LOTS of Wedding Cards lately!  I had a thought….I figured it would be a good idea to create some (somewhat) simple Wedding Cards to give to my friend's son that I told you about.  Do you remember when you were in your twenties and it seemed you had two Weddings per weekend?  Well, I do!  When we got married (almost 30 years ago!!!!), we all had to plan our weddings so that we wouldn't miss each other's!  We were poor back then too so not having to pay for cards would have helped! LOL!  One of the fun perks of Card Making is that, once you have the supplies, your cards are very inexpensive!  This card uses different textures to help an otherwise simple card look a little more "dressy."  The card base is Very Vanilla Cardstock cut 4 1/4" x 11 and scored and 5 1/2".  The next layer if 4" x 5 1/4" and was passed through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine using the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Folder.

The hearts were cut using the Hearts A Flutter Framelits.  The bottom heart is Early Espresso Cardstock and the top one is Very Vanilla Card Stock which was then passed through the Big Shot using the Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Folder.  The Sentiment "Forever & Always" is from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set and was stamped in Early Espresso Ink.  The edges were cut using the 1" Square Punch to create the banner look.  The bottom banner was passed through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder.

The roses were created with Very Vanilla Seam Binding.  I put a few Glue Dots inside and folded it in half over onto itself.  I began curling it around itself and secured it with a Glue Dot.  I put a Pearl Basic Jewel in the center of each and then accented the bottom of the card with 3 Large Pearl Basic Jewels.

I accented the background layer with tiny Pearls.  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be found in my ONLINE STORE!
