Happy Monday!!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Today's card is Grand Central using SoHo Subway Designer Series Paper. I am a New York Girl – Born and Bred – so this is one of my favorite papers this year. I've done a bunch of different versions of this using all of the names of New York Landmarks. You can see them HERE, HERE, and HERE. There are lots of other designs in the pack too! (see below). Today's challenge was creating a card with a few things I packed into a bag without knowing what the sketch challenge was going to be. Always a little harrowing. LOL! The last time I did that, I forgot to bring adhesive! I was hoping the card would stay together long enough so I could photograph it. haha. (You can see it HERE.)
This time, I forgot brads and the scallop circle punch so my flower layers are only attached with adhesive and they're only 3 layers each. I love the flowers with the shabbiness of the rest of the card. My distress tool isn't in the bag either so this is just a little shabby and not grungy.
I never tried photographing my cards in natural sunlight. Wow! What a difference! The inside of the card was decorated with a strip of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock and a strip of SoHo Subway Designer Series Paper. Everything was sponged with Chocolate Chip Ink and a Stampin' Sponge.
