"Laughter is the Shortest Distance Between Two People." Isn't that the truth? This stamp is part of the awesome "Feel Goods" Stamp Set from the Spring Mini Catalog! I just love the sayings in it because they're perfect for little notes you would send a friend to just say hi! All supplies are listed and can be ordered by clicking HERE!
Sending simple notes to let someone know you're thinking about them is a very powerful way of conveying your feelings for someone! Opening the mail and getting a card from someone always makes me smile! It's so heartwarming to know that someone was thinking of you! This is a basic 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" note card (scored at 4 1/4"). The base layer is Crumb Cake card stock which is a great neutral to start with. The next layer is Very Vanilla car stock cut 4 1/8" x 4 1/8". The Big Shot and the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder were used on the next layer of 4" x 4" Crumb Cake card stock. All of the layers were sponged using Crumb Cake Ink and a Stamping Sponge.
The first two ribbons are from the Artisan Embellishment Kit in the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalog. The Primrose Petals Core'dinations card stock is a quick way to give a vintage feel to your cards! Just run it through the Big Shot using the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and sand it a little with our Sanding System! The greeting was Faux Embossed using Chocolate Chip Ink, Clear Embossing Powder and our Heat Tool. The little flag ribbons are Very Vanilla Seam Bindiing. Of course, the pearl border was created using our Pearl Basic Jewels.
The Soda Pop Top embellishment was created by running the pop top through the Big Shot between two cutting plates to flatten it. Then, the Collage Curios Stamp Set was using to create the image – first Crumb Cake Ink and then the Eiffel Tower in Chocolate Chip Ink. Punch the circle with the 1" Circle Punch and glue it to the Pop Top. When dry, cover with Crystal Effects and then adhere to your card using Stampin' Dimensionals!
