Metal Madness – Day Seven :: StampsandScrapbooks.com

I'm almost sad that the week is over! I love to challenge myself to use certain supplies for my Card Making! It makes me think out of the box. I hope you've enjoyed the Metal projects this week as much as I enjoyed creating them for you! Today's card uses the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Perfect Peacock Metal. I think this is my favorite color! The base card is Whisper White Cardstock. The next layer is Bermuda Bay Cardstock (another favorite!) The Whisper White Layer was run through the Big Shot in the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The first snowflake was created with Silver Glimmer Paper cut using the Festive Flurry Framelits and the Big Shot. The top snowflake was a stamp from the Festive Flurry Stamp Set. It was stamped onto the Perfect Peacock Metal with Whisper White Craft Ink and then embossed using Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. It was cut out using the Festive Flurry Framelits and then attached to the Silver Glimmer Snowflake with Stampin' Dimensionals. The center is a Rhinestone Basic Jewel. The whole snowflake was attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I had a scrap of the Perfect Peacock Metal so I ran it through the Big Shot in the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card using Glue Dots. I put a 1/8" Silver Ribbon across it and adhered it to the back of the cardstock with Glue Dots. For the embellishments, I used three Frosted Finishes Embellishments, attaching them with Glue Dots.

I love the dimension on this card!

I finished off the corner with a strip of Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
