Peace and Glitter

Today's "over the top" card is called Peace and Glitter! I love the Red Glimmer Paper and I also love the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper – Music Sheet! So, I put them together to make this holiday "Wow" card!  I think it borders on being "over the top" but let's say:  "On the corner of Just Enough and Over the Top!" LOL!  The base card is Basic Black cardstock – an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock cut in half and then scored in half.  The Modern Medley Designer Series Paper – Music Sheet is 4" x 5 1/4" and is layered on top of that.  

The Red Glimmer Paper Circle was cut using the Circles Collection Framelits (The 3rd largest) and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  It was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The banner is Very Vanilla Cardstock that was run through the Big Shot using the Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then layered onto Basic Black Cardstock.  You can cut the banner edge with a Square Punch, Scissors, or a Paper Trimmer.  It was layered over the circle with Sticky Strip.

The dove was stamped in Silver Encore Ink and Garden Green Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and then Embossed using Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  It was then cut out with Paper Snips and adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Greeting was stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink and embossed using Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  It was cut out using the Decorative Label Punch. A piece of Basic Black Cardstock was cut using the Decorative Label Punch and then cut on the diagonal using Paper Snips and reassembled behind the greeting to give it a border. The whole piece was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  A little Rhinestone Basic Jewel was attached for the dove's eye. 

The ribbon across the card is Very Vanilla Seam Binding and 1/8" Silver Ribbon.  The double bow was created using Very Vanilla Seam Binding and then attached to the card with Glue Dots.

The inside of the card is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with a 1/4" strip of Modern Medley Designer Series paper to match the Music Sheet on the card front.

The entire card was then sprayed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz. This card has lots of texture and dimension!  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. (Supply List below)
