Here’s the original Card (from this morning) which was a Valentine Card.

I love using things from my stash when creating something new.  It’s like half the work is already done!  I always try to make multiples when my stamps are dirty.   The Gadget Gear, Base Card and Strip of Corrugated Card Stock are all left-overs from other projects.  You can see the originals HERE, HERE and HERE.

• The base card is SU! Very Vanilla Card Stock that has been stamped with an SU! Dictionary Background Stamp.  The measurement is 4 1/4″ x 11″ – scored and folded at 5 1/2″.  It was distressed using Old Paper and Vintage Photo Distress Stains.
• A piece of TH Paper Stash Background Paper (another left-over) was inked using the TH Spills & Splatters Stamps and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
• A strip of AALD Dark Chocolate Craft Metal was embossed with TH’s Pocket Watches Texture Fade.  The embossed areas were sanded with a Sanding Block to expose the Silver Metal underneath.
• The edges of all of the papers were inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a Blending Tool.   The inside of the card was inked as well.

• The Gadget Gear was die cut and inked with Embossing Ink and Vintage Photo Distress Embossing Powder.
• Happy Birthday from SU!’s Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set was stamped in Walnut Stain Distress Ink onto a scrap of distressed Crumb Cake Card Stock (another left-over!).  It was die cut using the matching Bitty Banner Framelits.  The right edge was cut straight and it was then adhered to the card front.
• Tiny brads were cut so that only the “nail head” remained.  They were then adhered to the banner.

The elements were attached at different heights to create interest.  Some were adhered using adhesive and others using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• A piece of Idea-ology Film Strip was attached to the side of the card.
• This little strip of corrugated paper is probably my favorite part of the whole card!  It is a left-over from Tim Holtz’s November Tag of the 12 Tags of 2014.  That was my favorite tag of the year but it was a lot of work too.  You can see the original post HERE.  I saved all the extra left-overs from that project because they were all chock full of grungy goodness!

• An Idea-ology Key Hole and Brads were attached to the project using Glue Dots.
