It’s been a long hot summer and, even though the leaves are starting to change, it’s still over 80 degrees in NY. We’ve been drinking lots of Iced Coffee and Cold Brew is the hottest thing right now. I found this recipe at Chowhound HERE. Just mix it with and equal amount of Milk and, if desired, Simple Syrup and you’ll have a delicious Iced Coffee that’s not watered down.

- Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock in half. You’ll have two pieces of 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score both at 5-1/2″.
- Put one piece into a Paper Cutter and cut it from the top of the score line diagonally down to the right edge. Repeat with the second piece cutting from the top of the score line down to the left edge.
- Put the angled pieces into the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and run it through the Big Shot.
- Put Tear & Tape Adhesive onto the project as shown. Fold right side in first (the piece without adhesive) and then fold the left side over it. This will create the pocket card.
- For The Recipe Cards: Cut two pieces of Chocolate Chip Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″ and use the File Tab Edgelits to cut a tab – one left and one right. Repeat with a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock and cut the tab in the center.
- Cut 3 pieces of Whisper White Cardstock to 4-3/4″ x 3″. Attach to the tabbed cards and write the recipes on the cards. If desired, add the word “Coffee” using Verve’s Die Cut and attach it to the center of the top card so that it shows through.
- Wrap a piece of Early Espresso Seam Binding around the card and tie a knot.
- Use Pearl Basic Jewels to embellish the card front and tab.
- Stamp the “Coffee” Stamp from Mini Blueprints 9 in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 2-1/8″ x 2″ piece of Watercolor Cardstock and color in using Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip and Bermuda Bay Markers and a Blender Pen. Outline the bag and the edges of the card stock using a Pumice Stone Distress Marker. Layer onto a 2-1/4″ x 2-1/8″ piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock and then onto a 2-3/8″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Chocolate Chip Cardstock. Attach to card front.
