I love creating Vintage pieces. I’m a Card Maker first but I also love Art Journaling and Mixed Media and Paper Crafting projects! I often use Challenges as inspiration. This piece was done for the CC3C Challenge. The Instructions for the panel can be found in Tim Holtz’s Compendium of Curiosities III.
Chit Chat Stickers were used in the upper right corner. The Idea-ology Corners were “aged” with Broken China Distress Paint.
The Idea-ology Timepiece was layered with a Mini Gear and Game Spinner. I touched Broken China Distress Paint to various spots to make it look aged.
The Word Band was painted using Antique Bronze Distress Paint and then accented with Broken China Distress Paint. It was tied onto the Burlap Panel using Jute String.
Alpha Tiles were used to spell out the word “Love.”
It’s always a treat to use photos of family members. This is my Grandparent’s Wedding Photo. (It was a button.) I made a copy of it onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock and then cut it out using a Circle Framelit and then stacked it onto a piece of cardboard and attached it to the project using Foam Tape.
Additional items used: Idea-ology Buckles, Long Fastener, Melange Tissue Wrap Paper, Mini Stash Collage Paper, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Paint, Antique Linen Distress Paint.
