I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I enjoyed a wonderful day with my Stampin' Team on Saturday! You will be seeing lots of pictures this week from that event! Today's card is a hodgepodge of everything that was laying on my desk waiting to be played with! I've been loving Grungy, Dirty, Shabby Chic lately and this card is all of that and more. I was hoping to make it look like someone found it in an old trunk in the attic. I hope that's what you think of when you see it!
The base card is Early Espresso Cardstock with Very Vanilla layered over it. I ran it through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine in the Beautiully Baroque Textured Impressions Folder. I distressed the edges and sponged them with both Crumb Cake Ink and Chocolate Chip Ink. The tag was crumpled and distressed also and a map was stamped onto it in Chocolate Chip Ink. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso Ink as well. The Newsprint paper was crumpled and distressed and then I sprayed Chocolate Smooch Spritz for the splatter.
The tag is layered onto Early Espresso Cardstock and then adhere to the card with Stampin' Dimensonals. The elements (frame, key, etc.) were cut out with framelits in Crumb Cake Cardstock and then sprayed with an alcohol/Chocolate Chip Reinker mix and then a Gold Smooch Spritz. The Crochet Trim Ribbon was sponged with Crumb Cake Ink to make it look "dirty."
To finish off the inside of the card, I distressed another piece of newsprint and then adhered a distressed piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock on top. The lock was cut out of Brushed Gold Cardstock and then I sanded it and sprayed it with the alcohol/Chocolate Chip Reinker Mix.
