I love weddings! Creating Wedding Cards is one of my favorite things to do because you get to be as "over the top" as you'd like! This particular Wedding Card is for one of our friends' children who graduated West Point and is marrying someone who also graduated West Point! Congratulations Matt & Shaye!
The Embossing Folders give this card texture without overpowering it. I used the Vintage Wallpaper, Lacy Brocade, and Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folders.
The larger hearts were cut using the NEW Hearts A Flutter Framelits which you will be able to purchase in the Spring Mini which is coming out in January!!!!!! We will be doing a Spring 2012 Edition of Project Parade at StampAcademy.com to celebrate this beautiful mini catalog!
The Scallop Trim Border Punch created the lacy scallop at the bottom of this layer. Silver Glimmer Paper gives this card a little dazzle!
Whisper White Organza Ribbon is a perfect addition to any Wedding Card – It's elegant and simple but adds a finishing touch. The "Mr & Mrs" Greeting is from Tiny Tags and is stamped in Basic Gray Ink and then punched with the coordinating Jewelry Tag Punch.
The inside of the card was finished in the same way as the outside. A layer of Vintage Wallpaper Textured card stock was adhered to the inside of the card and the greeting is from A Word For You. The Silver Glimmer Paper heart was punched using the Small Heart Punch.
The sketch worked up beautiful for a wedding card!
Thanks, Lynn! 😀
