You know I love Paper Flowers! I make LOTS of them – but never any as beautiful as these! I could not resist these when I saw them! But…then I put them somewhere and forgot about them. I had to make a Wedding Card and immediately thought about the Flowers and this Pearl Flourish. I tried to keep the rest of the card fairly simple so it wouldn't be totally over the top Not sure if I accomplished that but here it is.
I didn't "do" anything to these flowers – they came all glittered! I'll post my version of this in a day or two but enjoy these today. I've never seen Paper Flowers quite like them!
The base card is Perfect Plum Cardstock with a layer of Smoky Slate Cardstock. The Whisper White layer was stamped with the En Francais Background Stamp and Perfect Plum Ink. The "band" was run throught the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine with the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Folder. The Greeting was stamped in Pefect Plum Ink onto Vellum Cardstock and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. The Vellum was then punched with the Decorative Label Punch and layered onto Whisper White Cardstock punched with the same punch. The Ribbon is Whisper White Organza.
'The pearl "flourish" was larger than the front of the card so I cut a piece off and adhered it to the inside of the card.
One of the reasons I was originally attracted to Paper Crafting was that I could "make" cards for people I care about. Weddings and Babies are two of my favorite reasons for Card Making! What are yours?
