I made this card a while back and forgot to post it so I figured I'd better hurry because It's already November! Isn't that CRAZY?! As a Paper Crafter, you're influenced by your surroundings. I know I've been creating a lot of cards with this color palette so I thought I'd take a couple of photos to show you why.
This is what I see when I open my front door. I absolutely love this time of year.
There's gonna be snow on the ground in another month and I'm going to be pining for these days. Then you'll be seeing snowflakes on my cards! LOL!
The base card is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock – half a sheet, scored in half. The next layer is Whisper White Cardstock 4" x 4 1/4". The Gently Falling Two Step Stamp Set was stamped randomly on the front using Chocolate Chip Ink for the outside image and then Cajun Craze Ink for the inside stamp. The acorns were done with Chocolate Chip Ink for the outside and Sahara Sand Ink for the inside.
The Window Frames Collection Framelits were used to cut out the center and then the greeting from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set was stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. It was punched out with a Circle Punch and the edges were sponged with Cajun Craze ink. It was layered onto a piece of Chocolate Chip Cardstock and popped up in the center of the opening using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The leaf was stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink for the detail Stamp and then the inside stamp was stamped first in Crushed Curry Ink and then Pumpkin Pie Ink and Cajun Craze Ink were stamped in random places directly onto the stamp. It was cut out and covered in Crystal Effects. While the Crystal Effects was still wet, a tiny bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter was sprinkled over the top of it. When it was completely dry, it was popped up onto the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The inside of the card was layered with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock with a leaf (stamped in the same colors as the Crystal Effects leaf) cut out and adhered to the cardstock using SNAIL Adhesive.
