Here are a few more Cards for Troops. All of these were stamped by Lena Vilarino. (Thanks, Lena!)
Enjoy!
This one is a great use of our pre-stamped cards – & then just "bling" it up!

As part of our Quarterly Team Meetings, we always collect Cards for Our Troops. Our Demonstrators create hand stamped cards for our Service Men and Women to use when they write home to their loved ones. We then send them to www.OperationWriteHome.org where they distribute them.
I thought you might enjoy some of the cards that these women generously create out of love and appreciation. God Bless Our Troops and the people who love them! If you would like to donate cards to this worthy organization, you can go to www.OperationWriteHome.org for details.

I'll be posting more as I get them loaded. Enjoy!
Thank You! No, Thank YOU!
I LOVE receiving mail, especially when it's a hand stamped card! I received this beautiful card as a Thank You from one of my downline, Yvette Sanchez. She is an awesome stamper and always has clean, simple, demonstratable cards. This photo is the original card she sent:
I wanted to use it as an example of how you can "Step-It-Up!" with our convenient accessories! So…I added a few of our Rhinestones to "bling it up" a notch. LOL! Reminds me of the old Saturday Night Live Days with "Schwing!"…except I'm saying "Bling!" Okay…I'm showing my age!
Anyway…Enjoy!

I Feel The Earth Move Under My Feet! (Sing Carole King!)
Yikes! Did YOU feel that Earthquake????? I'm in New York and felt my chair "rock." I definitely wasn't thinking Earthquake! Called my kids first and then my friend in Virginia. Thank God, everyone's okay and I sure hope you are too!
Check out Stampin' Up!'s August Promotion and get "All Shook Up!" (Elvis!) Ok…I'll stop now! 😉
Life is a Highway…I'm gonna drive it all night long! LOL!
Couldn't resist a couple more pics of my favorite cars! All the cards use Textured Embossing Folders run through the Big Shot. Enjoy!
I hate when my favorite stamps get retired – but then I remind myself that they're Collector's Items! This is one of my all time faves and I wouldn't part with it for any amount of money! I made these cards for a dear friend who collects Classic Cars.
This card uses the Embedded Embossing Technique where you adhere your punches to your cardstock and pass it through the Big Shot (113439) using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#119976).
Ahhh…I just love these cars! Don't they make you long for "The Good Old Days?"
I love Watermelon in the Summer! When I saw the YouTube Video by "Stampwithlaura" I was inspired to try this for myself!
They're SO easy to make using Stampin' Up!'s new Penant Punch. Just make a little template using card stock vellum and the penant punch and sponge through it.

Thank you to everyone who sent me a note about the pansies and, especially, those who talked about their Grandmothers! I did a couple more pansies in different colors. Enjoy!
Sorry about the poor lighting in this photo! The colors are Eggplant Envy and Daffodil Delight.
This is one of my favorites! I added Pacific Point to the Eggplant and Daffodil.
I was always very close to my Grandmother. She was such an amazing woman who came to this country alone at 24 and got married and raised her family. We all adored her. She was extremely intelligent, really funny and an incredibly good cook! I think of her SO often! Her favorite flowers were pansies so when I saw this technique on Gretchen Barron's blog, I thought of her immediately and knew I had to try it!
The pansies start with the butterfly punch (#119848) and shimmery white card stock (#101910). You put them on paper towels and spritz them really well with water. Then, you take your aqua painter (#103954) and a couple of drops of reinkers. In this image, I used Cherry Cobbler (#119788), Eggplant Envy (#1105222), and Daffodil Delight (#119672). You can do them with any combination you'd like. Just use the aqua painter to pick up a drop of the reinker and literally drop it onto the butterfly/card stock. It will spread by itself. Do the same with your other colors and allow to dry. Use a matching marker to draw the lines and adhere two together using a brad. My favorite is our new Silver Mini Brads (#122941). The hardest part, for me, was remembering to leave some white space!
The card is Cherry Cobbler (#119685) and Shimmery White (#101910) card stocks. The base was passed through the Big Shot (#113439) using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder (#120175) and the white layer was cut using the Top Note Die (#113463) and then the Manhattan Flower Textured Embossing Folder (#114517). Can you tell I'm addicted to those embossing folders! I can't get enough of them! The greeting is Thank You Kindly (W#111700) and is punched using the large oval punch (#119855) and layered with the scalloped oval punch (#119856). It is accented with white 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (#109070). Voila! Thanks, Gretchen!
Do a BUNCH of them at once and save them for quick cards. I do these and leave the greetings off until I need them.
