I love my job!  Yes!  Blogging is actually my real job!  It’s easier now to tell people that’s what I do because it’s actually recognized as a career.  When I first started this blog, most people didn’t even really understand what it was. LOL!  I really enjoy creating things and sharing them with you via this blog and I appreciate you visiting!  Recently, I attended a Blogger’s Conference called SoFabU On The Road.  It was in Bryant Park in NYC – which is beautiful and less than an hour from my house.  It was so fun to learn new things so I can improve your experience while you’re here.  Bloggers are also incredibly nice people!

I’m surprised at how many different kinds of blogs there are.  There’s a sense of friendship with your readers that compels you to share many aspects of your life.  The Lifestyle bloggers have the luxury of sharing almost anything.  The Foodie bloggers have a really fun job too but I think my obsession with food is enough to keep me away from anything that will make me think about it more often than I already do! LOL!  My Craft Blog keeps me busy FULL TIME and I really love creating for all of you and hearing how you use the ideas in your own lives.

The summer is a crazy time for many of us as we try to squeeze in family time and vacation time in between all of our other commitments.  I know I’ve been MIA the past few weeks.  My daughter finished her Grad Program in Boston and moved home for a quick week and then down to the DC area for her new job.  I’ve been back and forth three times in the last two weeks!  Yikes!  It’s been nuts but I’ve loved every moment I spent with her setting up her apartment for her new “grown up” life!  It’s another reminder of how you need to enjoy every moment.  (I swear – she was five last year!)  I just don’t know where the time went!

So – after the longest break I’ve ever taken from you, I’m BACK!  Fun stuff ahead!  I’d love to know what YOU do in your “real” job!
