Festive Flurry and Metal Card

It's Monday!  My favorite day of the week.  This morning's card uses the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Festive Flurry Framelits.  I know I over use both of them but I can't help it.  It's freezing outside so that always makes me think about snow – which I love – and the bling potential for snowflakes is endless (which I also love.)  So…the base card is Whisper White Cardstock that was cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".  It was then passed through the Big Shot in the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  The side strip is Bermuda Bay Cardstock 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" with a piece of Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper 2 5/8" x 5 3/8".

The 1/8" Silver Ribbon is tucked behind the Bermuda Bay cardstock layer using Glue Dots.  The center of each embossed snowflake is embellished with a small Rhinestone Jewel.

The circle was cut using the Circles Collection Framelits (I used #3 from outside in) and Perfect Peacock Metal Sheets from Add A Little Dazzle.  It was passed through the Big Shot in the Chevron Embossing Folder and attached to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The bottom snowflake was stamped in Smoky Slate Ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut using the Festive Flurry Framelits.  The next snowflake was cut from Silver Glimmer Paper (yummm!) using the Festive Flurry Framelits.  The top snowflake was stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink and cut using the Festive Flurry Framelits.  They were attached to each other using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The top was finished off with a Frosted Finishes Embellishment which was attached with a Glue Dot.

Besides the Bling Factor, this card has great dimension!  The greeting is from the Express Yourself Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.  It was cut using the Bitty Banner Framelits, attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and finished with two Rhinestone Jewels.
