Today's StampsAndScrapbooks post is a Melon Mambo Birthday Card. November is a very busy month in our family – EIGHT birthdays! Yikes! Thank God I'm a Card Maker! LOL! Seriously though…Paper Crafting can save you a ton of money on cards one you have your supplies.

The base card is Basic Black Cardstock – cut in half and then scored and folded in half. The next layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock that was passed through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine in the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. A strip of Silver Shimmer Paper is centered on the card and a piece of Basic Black Cardstock was passed through the Big Shot in the Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then layered on top of the Silver Glimmer Paper. That piece was adhered to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Label Love Stamp Set. It was stamped in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and then punched out using the Artisan Label Punch. A piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock was punched out using the Artisan Label Punch and then cut in half and reassembled behind the greeting so it creates a border. It was then adhered to a 1 3/4" Scalloped Circle of Silver Glimmer Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals. The whole piece was then adhered to the project using Stampin' Dimensionals.

A piece of Whisper White Organza Ribbon was banner cut using Craft Scissors and adhered to the front of the card with Glue Dots. A Large Rhinestone Jewel was used to accent the corner of the card. All supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be found in my ONLINE STORE.
