Metal Madness – Day Three :: StampsandScrapbooks.com

There are Metal pieces all over my studio! I am having a blast! This card was inspired by a swap I received from Sandy Silberquit. (You can see it at the bottom of this post.) Her card was beautiful and the metal takes it to a whole 'nother level! I started with a Crumb Cake Card and then put a layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock. I took a piece of Dark Chocolate Metal and ran it through the Big Shot in the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I ran a piece of Victoria Crochet trim across it and adhered it to the back with Glue Dots.

Next, I embossed the leaves from Gently Falling onto a piece of Brushed Copper Metal using Versamark Ink and Early Espresso Embossing Powder – and heated it with my Heat Tool. I cut them out using Paper Snips and then adhered them to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and a little Glue Dot for the stem. I stamped "Thanks so much" from the Simply Sketched Hostess Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink onto Very Vanilla Card Stock and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. I used the Large Oval Punch to punch it out. Next, I punched out a piece of Dark Chocolate Metal using the Extra Large Oval Punch and ran it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Both were adhered to each other and the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The fourth leaf was adhered to the bottom of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I tied a bow withVictorian Crochet Trim and adhered it to the card with Glue Dots.
