Many of you have asked what my Craft Space looks like. It used to like a bit like a disaster LOL! That's why you've never seen it before! Lately, I have been BUSY creating so I decided I need to clean it up and try to keep it that way! It is, by no means, finished! It needs lots of TLC and organization but since you asked, and we're all friends here….THIS is my Paper Crafting Studio. This view shows my "Sweet Spot." That's the chair I can reach just about everything I need so I do most of my Card Making from there. I've tried a bunch of different chairs to find the one that's most comfortable, but…I haven't found the perfect one yet. If you have any suggestions, let me know! The cabinets above my work space contain all of my stamps and other goodies. The post-it notes you see are the reminders for all of the things I need to do on a monthly basis. They're color coded and they get moved depending on whether they need to be done today, next week, or whenever.
This ribbon organizer is just a lucite "bucket" – meaning there's no dowel or anything "spearing" the ribbons so I can just lift them out. My cork board holds my brayers. Plastic Wood Stamp Cases hold my Baker's Twine and things like that and the misters hold my alcohol/reinker sprays.
This is the "Hot Spot!" I use my Ink Pads, Markers and Heat Tool most of All!!! I recently arranged my Ink Pads according to color. It's definitely working better for me! Unfortunately, this fabulous Ink Pad Holder was created by a company that is no longer in business. To the right of my Ink Pads, you'll see the Clear Stamp Cases. I store Rhinestones in one and Pearls in the other. I put a jewel on the outside of the case so I can see what's in there without actually opening it!
The embellishments, kind of, take over the entire corner of my counters because I LOVE embellishments!I use the lucite "buckets" for the excess and retired and the current goodies live in the Stampin' Up! turn table. My every day tools are stored in a Pampered Chef Tool Caddy which turns.
My punches – and I have A LOT of punches – are stored in this Punch Organizer where I can see them, grab them and return them without much effort.
This corner has the 8 1/2" x 11" Paper Holders. The papers are currently grouped by color "family" but I will be reorganizing them soon to match my Ink Pads. My Big Shot Die Cutting Machine lives on top of this counter and behind it you'll find lots of Framelits and Embossing Folders (my faves!) You can't see it in this photo, but there is a cabinet to the right that has the rest of my dies and drawers for my Bigz Dies and Embosslits, Embossing Powders, Glitters, etc., etc., etc.
My 12" x 12" papers are sorted in these great organizers that I picked up from a store that was going out of business. They store a lot of paper in just a 12 x 12 space!
This is a Chandelier that I made using the Kaisercraft Wood Chandelier. It took a ridiculous amount of time and work but now that it's finished, I love it! It's just a funny piece and it makes me smile every time I see it! 🙂
This is a Craft Table I saw on Pinterest and made. It's awesome! Exactly the height and size that I wanted. It was a HUGE accomplishment for me because, believe it or not, I'm not handy! LOL! If you want to see the original post with measurements, you can find it HERE.
I hope you enjoyed the little "tour" of my Craft Space! While you're here, look around at some of the samples I made and let me know which one is your favorite. Hope you're having a great night! 😀
Wow.. this is amazing and it looks pretty neat to me.. do you remember where you bought the lucite containers for your ribbons.. seems like a great tool and easy to grab what you need.. thanks
Bernice
Hi, Bernice!
Unfortunately, the ribbon container, embellishment container and ink pad holder were all made by the same company and they’ve been out of business for a long time. If you want some different options, I can recommend a couple. Drop me an email. 😀
