I loved the inspiration for this week's Saturday Sketch Challenge! It comes from Charming Charlie's which is a retail store that sells all kinds of accessories. It's definitely something you need to see at some point in your life! You can find a video for the flower HERE. Enjoy!
Cathy, I just love the flower (and Charming Charlie’s)!! Is the flower from a punch?
TFS… Lyra
Hi, Lyra!
Thanks! Yes…the flower uses the blossom flower punch and the scallop circle punch. There’s a video on my blog showing how to do a flower. You can find it here:

Hi Cathy,
Where is Charming Charlie’s? Do they have a website? Love the flower!
Hi, Terry! Yes! They do have a website. It’s a chain so you can find them in malls. They just opened one about 40 min from here so I was able to actually go to the store which is really fun! They have it set up by color so every kiosk has accessories in that color. It’s very fun and everything is inexpensive. 🙂
Hi Cathy,
I love your simply beautiful card! Wouldn’t it be great to make the flower removable so the lucky recipient could wear it as a pin? I have made paper flower pins using the scallop circle punch and though they don’t hold up forever, they’re really pretty! I remember making these flowers at one of your fabulous Project Parades. Can’t wait to see your new catalog ideas…I had a sneak peek at the new Idea Book and I can’t wait to order! I have a long list ready to go!
Hi, Laura!
thanks! I do love those flowers! LOL!
Never thought about making them pins – good idea!
Hope all is well!
😀
Great card – lovin’ that flower! Also love Charming Charlie’s! So much fun that everything is arranged by color scheme’s – so yummy!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
This is such a simple, yet elegant card, Cathy! The flower is awesome and thanks for sharing the video instructions!
Thanks, Mary! 😀
Love your flowers. Somehow mine don’t turn out nearly as pretty. I keep practicing. Thanks for all the inspiration
hi, Pam!
Thanks for the compliment! When you scrunch them up, then start to open it a little until it looks the way you want it to. Did you watch the little video?
