Happy Monday, Everyone! This was my view when I woke up this morning! (Visiting my parents)
I mean…seriously…every day should start like this! Then…I checked the Mojo Monday Sketch for this morning. I brought a little bag of goodies in anticipation of today's sketch…a square card, a circle card, some pieces. I really thought I had all my bases covered and then I checked the sketch. I sooo totally didn't have much that worked!!!!! Then, I realized I didn't bring a cutter or adhesives. LOL! I had a sheet of dimensionals, 2 scallop circles in Soft Suede, 2 scallop circles in Pool Party and the pieces you see on this card. So…it is a rough interpretation and don't look too closely 'cause it's a little bit of a disaster! haha
I hope you enjoy it anyway – Happy Monday!
Base Card is pool party; Layer is Soft Suede run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder. The next layer is torn pool party and then a layer of Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper. The pool party doily is cut using the Sizzix Doily (see FREE Video on StampAcademy.com) with an Antique Brad and the greeting is Pursuit of Happiness in Soft Suede Classic ink cut using the Modern Label Punch. The ribbon is Soft Sued 1 1/4" Grosgrain. The rolled roses are done with scallop circles and there's a quick video HERE.
I think your card looks great. Love the colors. TFS
