I’ve been having so much fun playing with Stampin’ Up!’s new “You’ve Got This” Stamp Set! There are so many things you can do with it. I created a Watercolor Sympathy Card last week. You can see it HERE. This week, I wanted to frame it and try a little bling.
- Basic Black Card Stock cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – Scored at 4-1/4″.
- Gold Glimmer Paper cut 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Stamp the flower from the You’ve Got This Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock. Color the flower petals and flower center using Stampin’ Write Markers in different shades of yellow (Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Hello Honey, So Saffron). Color the leaves and stems with different shades of green Stampin’ Write Markers (Garden Green, Cucumber Crush).
- Die cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic Black Card Stock using the largest plain oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits. Adhere over the Whisper White Card Stock and then adhere to card front.
- Stamp “So Thankful…” from the Amazing Birthday Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and use the corner of a 1″ Square Punch to banner cut the edge. Layer it onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock and repeat. Layer both onto a rectangle of Gold Glimmer Paper and adhere to the card front.
- Use a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to accent the leaves and petals and a Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Pen to accent the sentiment.
Not sure how I ended up with red again but this time, I used the same oval frame as above.
- Basic Black Card Stock cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – Scored at 4-1/4″.
- Cherry Cobbler Card Stock cut 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Stamp the flower from the You’ve Got This Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock. Color the flower petals using Stampin’ Write Markers in different shades of red (Real Red, Cherry Cobbler). Color the leaves and stems with different shades of green Stampin’ Write Markers (Garden Green, Cucumber Crush). Use a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker to color the center of the flower.
- Die cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic Black Card Stock using the largest plain oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits. Adhere over the Whisper White Card Stock and then adhere to card front.
- Wrap a Gold Satin Ribbon around the front of the post card and adhere behind with Glue Dots. Tie a bow using the ribbon and adhere to the other ribbon with Glue Dots.
- Attach postcard to card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
- Stamp “For You” from the Tag Talk Stamp Set in Whisper White Craft Ink onto Basic Black Card Stock and cut out. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Use Pearl Basic Jewels to embellish the card front.
- Brush a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen across the flower petals and leaves.
