When you are creating, it's a good idea to make a couple of extras to have around for inspiration! This background was done on the same day as my Backgrounds and Roses Card. Paper Crafting can be messy sometimes and it helps if you only have to clean up once! 🙂 The backgrounds are a little similar but, then again, totally different. The Backgrounds and Roses Card is "smoky" and this one is more of a "Splatter or Splash." I used Black Distress Ink and then dropped a few drops of Pool Party Reinker and then "swiped" my Whisper White cardstock through it over and over until I filled the whole space. You can see an example HERE. I am definitely a grunge card maker!
I purposely left the center piece white because the rest of the card is a little overpowering. The simple Pool Party Ribbon cuts through the black and softens it a little. The "Hello" Greeting was punched with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch and then layered onto a piece of Pool Party Cardstock. It was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels add a little sparkle. Gotta have bling on those Paper Crafting Projects! All Supplies are listed below. Feel Free to SHOP in my ONLINE STORE. Enjoy! 🙂
