This Spooky Halloween card was created by Sandi Silberquit. She uses our Scallop Square Die (#115950) to create a square folded card. You can accomplish this by cutting your Basic Black cardstock 4-3/4 x 8-1/2 and scoring it in the center. Place the score line JUST BELOW the cut line of the die. It will only cut 3 sides giving you the square scallop note card!
This card is then passed through the Big Shot (#113439) in the Spider Web (#120889) Textured Embossing Folder. A 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper (#122351) is layered on top of the card and then a 3 x 3 layer of Basic Black card stock (#121045) is layered on top of the DSP.
The Whisper White card stock (#100730) layer is 2-3/4 x 2-3/4. The scene is created by using a 1" circle punch (#119868) to cut out a "mask" using the sticky end of a post it note. You can then use this "mask" to create the moon by placing your "mask" on the spot where you want the moon to be. Sponge (#101610) over the card and mask using Basic Black Classic Ink (#101179). When you remove the circle/mask, you will have the moon. Then use Stazon Jet Black Ink (#101406) to stamp your image with the Haunted Forest Stamp (#123841) in the Holiday Mini. The image was colored in using an Aqua Painter (#103954) and the actual Classic Ink Pads: Chocolate Chip (#100908), Pumpkin Pie (#105216)
If you haven't signed up for the Holiday Extravaganza yet, you better hurry! The Early Bird pricing expires next Monday!!!!
This fabulous project was inspired by my friend, Yvette Sanchez. She gave me her business card in one of these envelope treat holders and I LOVED it! Here's my version:
Start with a Medium Crumb Cake envelope (#107297) folded in half. Put it in your Paper Cutter (#104152) and slice only the flap in the center (see photo below). It is embellished using lots of layers of cardstock and the Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper (#122366). The measurements for the front are: Early Espresso card stock (#119686) cut 4-1/4 x 2-3/4, Mocha Morning DSP 4 x 2-1/2, Soft Suede card stock (#115318) 3-1/2 x 2, Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) 3-1/4 x 1-3/4. The saying is from Faith in Nature (#122490) and is stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink (#119670). The Chocolate Chip Ribbon (#124142) is 17 inches long and is "trapped" between the envelope and the layers of card stock to hold it in place. The tiny flower embellishment is a piece of Soft Suede card stock punched using the flower from the Punch Pack punch (#118309) and an antique brass brad from the 3/16" Metallics Collection (#119741).
On the inside, you will seal the top HALF of the flap down and layer a piece of Early Espresso card stock 3-3/4 x 2-1/4 with a business card on top. You can fill the bottom half of the envelope with a tea bag, a hershey bar, a coupon, whatever you'd like! Then, tie the ribbon and hand them out to EVERYONE!
Our Team Meeting was yesterday so check back often! I'm going to be posting some of the beautiful cards we made!
Enjoy!
You guys often ask me to show you the best way to mount clear stamps. This is a very short, simple video showing you my favorite way to mount Stampin' Up!'s clear mount stamps. Enjoy!
This card was swapped at our Quarterly Meeting but it didn't have a name on the back so I can't credit the artist!
Another donation from Lena Vilarino! I love Rich Razzleberry! It reminds me of Black Raspberry ice cream!
We love the Miami Hurricanes and attending the football games is especially exciting! The Cheerleaders and Sebastian The Ibis keep the energy and excitement of the crowd going! I made this card for my daughter's friends.
The school colors are green and orange so I used a Garden Green card with a Pumpkin Pie layer that was run through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Texture Impressions Embossing Folder #119976.
The ribbon is retired Pumpkin Pie 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. (Definiely check out the new colors!)
The Holiday Mini Catalog has lots of fun accessories! The green button is from the Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Buttons #125636 and coordinates with our new Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Series Paper(#124004) and Fabric (#124065)!
The words were cut wih the Big Shot #113439 using Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die #113453 and decorated with Dazzling Details #124117.
Enjoy!
This Designer Series Paper always makes a great card! Noreen Bierman created this swap card using the Butterflies Embosslit.
