I find it so much easier to create when I have parameters – like colors, or photos, or – my personal favorite – sketches. Today's Inspirational Photo is from the Dazzling Divas Design Challenge at Add A Little Dazzle. I love using Craft Metal! You use it like cardstock but the results are so different! I didn't have green Craft Metal so I used Garden Green Cardstock (#102584) and Wondrous White Craft Metal.
- Cut a piece of Brushed Silver Cardstock (#100712) at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score and fold at 4 1/4".
- Take a piece of 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Garden Green Cardstock (#102584) and run through the Big Shot (#113439) in the Woodgrain Embossing Folder (#127821). Sponge (#101610) the raised edges with Chocolate Chip Ink (#126979). Adhere to the Silver Card.
- Use the #2 and #3 Heart Framelits (#125599) to create an open heart by nesting them inside of each other and pass through the Big Shot over Wondrous White Craft Metal.
- Run the heart through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder (#119976).
- Use the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch (#129404) to punch out 12-15 pieces of Whisper White Cardstock (#100730).
- Pass the scalloped circles through the Crimper and then use your Bone Folder (#102300) to work the fibers of the paper until they start to separate. Pull the cardstock apart revealing the inside of the paper. It will resemble suede.
- Stack 5 pieces on top of one another and pierce with a Paper Piercing Tool (#126189). Insert a Mini Silver Brad (#122941). Scrunch the layers up toward the center to create a flower.
- Repeat until you have 5 flowers. Spray the flowers with Vanilla Smooch Spritz Shimmer Spray (#118772).
- Wrap a piece of Silver Baker's Twine (#132976) around the heart, securing with a Glue Dot (#103683).
- Apply Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) to the back of the heart and adhere to the front of the card.
- Cut one of Tim Holtz's Industrious Sticker Arrows and adhere to the left bottom and right top of the heart.
- Attach 3 flowers to the top left curve of the heart and 2 flowers to the bottom right of the heart using Glue Dots (#103683).
- Use the word "Love" from the Expressions Thinlits over a piece of Wondrous White Craft Metal – and run through the Big Shot to cut. (Placing a piece of wax paper between the metal and the thinlit will make removal easier).
- Attach to the inside of the heart using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).
- Finish off the front of the card with a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#129324).
- Finish the inside of the card with a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White Cardstock.

So pretty! Love the use of the green background with the white, not your usual Valentine’s colors. I have played with metal sheets but never white! Thanks for the kind visit today, it made me smile.
