I love this Graphic from StampingIsMyBusiness.com! We've all been there – where we've missed a deadline and it cost us money! I always say "No-one loves FREE more than ME!" and I really mean it! Sale-A-Bration gives you something FREE for every $50.00 you purchase! Here's the Flyer so you can see all the Goodies you can get for FREE! You can order in my ONLINE STORE. It's a great time to stock up on your adhesives and card stock!
With only 5 days left 'till Sale-A-Bration, sadly, comes to an end, I wanted to use my favorite sheet of DSP from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper Pack. It's not my favorite because it was FREE although that helps 😉 – It's my favorite because it coordinates beautifully with my FAVORITE Textured Impressions Folder: Vintage Wallpaper! Every time I create a card, I look through my collection of Impressions Folders and I try NOT to use it because I know I use it all the time! BUT…it truly goes with just about everything! The "other" DSP behind it comes from Patio Party DSP. Don't forget that your colors coordinate! Look through your paper stash and mix and match!

So, for this card, I wanted a more masculine look so I didn't tie a bow in my ribbon. Instead, I used the Retired copper button. I only have a few left 🙁 so I try to save them for "special" cards! LOL (I know YOU know what I mean!) The corners were created using a technique I call Aged Copper. You use Brushed Gold card stock, run it through the Big Shot using a Textured Impressions Folder of your choice (you know what MY choice was!) and then sand the top of it. Spray it with a solution of 70% Alcohol and Chocolate Chip Reinker in one of our Spritz Bottles and Voila! Aged Copper! The circle behind the greeting was created the same way.
The brads were snipped so that I could just drop them on using Glue Dots instead of having to hole punch and insert the brads – a lazy way to get the same look! Everything was sponged with Midnight Muse Ink and a Stampin' Sponge. Stampin' Dimensionals were used to pop everything up for extra texture. Note – the left edge of the doily need a double Stampin' Dimensional so that it would stay even with the rest of the doily. Just pile one on top of the other until it's even.
All supplies are listed at the end of this post and can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. It's not too late to place your SALE-A-BRATION Order! Get something FREE with every $50 you order! Stock up on your adhesives and card stock! Don't forget to enter my CARD CONTEST!!! But hurry – it ends Friday!

I received this adorable gift from my friend, Sharon Abrams! I've been meaning to share it with you!
Sharon is just the QUEEN of MDS! She hung these on her neighbors doors for the holidays! Isn't that a great gift idea?! She created the "picture" in MDS and then cut it out and put it over the popcorn top!
Stampin' Spritz Bottles, Alcohol and Reinkers, Oh My! I made quite a mess in the Studio today! I am continuing to clean out lots and lots of "stuff" and came across this old artsy Acey Deucy stamp that my Mom used to love! So…I wanted to make her a book mark using the stamp and some elements I knew she'd like.
I took a couple of Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Spritz bottles and filled them halfway with alcohol (70%) and then dropped some reinker in there until I liked the color. The blue is Island Indigo Reinker (about 10 drops) and the goldish is More Mustard Reinker (about 12 drops) with some Gold Glow Smooch Spritz that was left over from another project. I just spritze them on Whisper White card stock and heated for a couple of seconds with my heat tool. Then, I stamped on that piece with Stazon Jet Black Ink. The stamped piece was adhered to Basic Black card stock and I cut the tag shape and hole punched. The fibers are from the bottom of a drawer I haven't opened in about ten years – literally!
I'll do a video for you guys showing you how to mix the colors and use them so check back in a day or two. Hope you're having a great week! 😀
I think of cards as little packages of love in an envelope. When I receive a card in the mail, it really makes me feel good that the person took the time, not only to create a card for me but to take the trouble to mail it as well. This greeting is from the Stamp Set "Feel Goods" and they're exactly that! Sentiments designed to make the recipient feel good! Most of the cards I send are not really for any occasion except to let someone know I am thinking about them and that I care about them and, basically, to make them feel good!
All supplies are listed and can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE.
I'm determined to start using all the supplies that I compulsively buy because I HAVE to have them! When they retire, I am already on to new things! So, this card uses Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration flyer. It's called "Sycamore Street" and has lots of fabulous colors including Tangerine Tango which gives it a nice pop of color. The Midnight Muse Ribbon coordinates perfectly with the card stock and the Designer Series Paper. That's one of the things I love most about Stampin' Up!'s products! Everything coordinates with everything! As someone who can barely dress myself, that's a real life-saver! Sale-A-Bration ends March 22nd, so take advantage of this opportunity to stock up on your card stock and adhesives along with your other goodies so you can get your FREEBIES!
The flower is from the Pop Up Posies Designer Kit and so is the brad. The Pop Up Posies Designer Kit has LOTS of fun "stuff"' in it like doilies and flowers and brads and mini cupcake line-like things that make fun flowers. It's like a little treasure trove of embellishment treats!

Don't forget to decorate the inside of your cards too! The front of this card was a little top heavy because of all of the layers and embellishments so I double layered the inside as well. It might cost you a few extra pennies to mail but I think it's worth it!

You know I love Film Strip and now I know that YOU do too! My Film Strip post got lots of attention and you all wanted to know how it was done! That one was a die but you can easily create a Faux Film Strip just by using a strip of Basic Black Card Stock and backing your individual images with Whisper White Card Stock. If you're not using an actual Postage Stamp, you can use the Postage Stamp Punch with any Stamped Image.
I also love animal prints and these "Save Vanishing Species" Postage Stamps are definitely a favorite! Details are below and all supplies can be ordered in my Online Store! Enjoy!
btw…Have you entered my CARD CONTEST yet??? The Winner will receive $50!!!! Enter as many times as you like! Read the details HERE.
I am OBSESSED with the Stampin' Up! 5/8" Flower Trim! Really! I want to put it on EVERYTHING! I limited myself to one little rose for this. This is another card using the Love stamps from the Post Office. I love them! The Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Folder is the background for this card and the filmstrip highlights the stamps. It's simple yet – not! All supplies are listed and can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE.
I loved these Love Stamps! They're not making them anymore but you can find them if you ask at a few different post offices. I thought of this card in the middle of the night! LOL! Don't you hate when that happens! I never know if I should get up and write it down so I don't forget or just roll over and go back to sleep! LOL If you follow my blog, you know I love these roses from the 5/8" flower trim! I also love, love, love textured impressions folders and using different textures on the same card. The tone on tone is soft and feminine and perfect for "Love" cards of any kind! :-D
Supplies are listed below and can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE HERE!
