Add a Little Dazzle and Fancy Pants Blog Hop – Day # 5   Welcome to another exciting Blog Hop. I LOVE Mini Books!  All kinds big and small.  I don’t know what it is about them that fascinates me but whenever I see them, I want to make one!  I just finished a Mini Books Class at StampAcademy and I’ve been Mini Book Crazy ever since! LOL!  This book is quick and easy!  It uses Fancy Pants Patterned Paper and Embellishments and Add A Little Dazzle Metal Sheets.   I love how the metal really pops off the cover!

The individual pages are Chipboard covered in Fancy Pants Patterned Paper.  I used the coordinating Envelopes, Folders, Pockets, Cut-outs, Tags and Embellishments to decorate the pages.

I accordion folded a piece of heavy paper (the one that comes in the back of a pack of some 12 x 12 papers) and used that to adhere the chipboard pages and covers to.

I adhered a piece of white corrugated cardboard – which was included in the Fancy Pants Paper Pack – for the spine of the book.

I embossed Pucker Me Pink and Orange Craft Metal with SU!’s Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.  I tied a piece of White Seam Binding around the metal and tied a Double Bow using the How To Tie a Double Bow Using Your Fingers Technique (SEE THE VIDEO HERE) and attached it to the ribbon with Glue Dots.  The metal was then adhered to the front of the cover with Score-Tape.
