This is another option for the square card I posted yesterday.  Even simpler!  Flowers are really addicting! Once you start using them in your card making, you won't be able to stop! haha!  Enjoy!

It's Monday and Memorial Day!  I hope you're enjoying this extra Family Day this week!  Please remember why it is that we celebrate this day!  There are many soldiers serving our country today and too many who gave their lives to preserve the freedom we often take for granted.

I love the month of May and I know it sounds strange but I love Mondays!  It's usually a catch-up day for me and I feel great after I finally get everything put away and ready for another crazy week!  Here's my Mojo Monday card for today:

Supplies:  Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla card stocks; Well Worn Designer Series Paper; Pursuit of Happiness Stamp Set; Early Espresso Classi Ink; Distressing Tool; Chocolate Chip Polka Dot Ribbon; Designer Naturals Buttons – from the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog!

I had the pleasure of having lunch with one of my dearest friends from childhood.  It is such a joy to have good friends – especially those who share your memories from long ago!  It doesn't matter how long it has been since you've seen them, it is always the same.  Sometimes you truly love those best who you loved first.  This is a thank you card to my friend, Rose, for the beautiful birthday gift she gave me today!

The rose was made recycling the brown paper that comes in our Stampin' Up! boxes.  I sponged Concord Crush ink onto the paper and then punched it out using the large scallop punch and then scrunched it up and then sprayed with gold smooch spray.  (I'm sorry to say – it looks better in person.)
