Last card for today…(Psst…there are more in the que for tomorrow)
I got totally carried away with this card – the dazzling diamonds is waaaay over the top – so, try to look past it! LOL!
Continuing with my Sketch Happy theme - Today's card is a
Monochromatic Spring card.
I hope you like it!
The directions for the ribbon are here:

I bet you're thinking – "How does she have time to do all of this stamping?!" Well…it's my JOB! LOL!
I find the more I stamp, the easier it is to create and I've been working hard on SPRING SPECTACULAR and the next Session of Project Parade – which is our SPRING EDITION!!!! Look for previews very soon!
In the mean time…here's my Spring SUO Challenge. I hope you like it! 😀

I used the Big Shot and Scalloped Square Die with Daffodil Delight card stock. The Polka Dot Textured Embossing Folder on Wisteria Wonder card stock. The flower is done with the Blossom Punch (8 plus the center) The edges of the flower have Dazzling Details and then it's spritzed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. The greeting is from Delightful Dozen and is punched out using the Modern Label Punch and then layered with Daffodil Delight cs cut with the Curly Label Die and the Punch Windows and then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Okay…I'm back from lunch with my friend! LOL She's FABULOUS, btw!
Many of you asked so…here are the supplies I used for her card:
Card base is a half sheet of crumb cake card stock
Then, I layered black cs and distressed the edges. The Mocha Morning DSP panels are layered onto distressed pieces of crumb cake cs. The scallop edge is also Mocha Morning Scallop Trim Border Punch. The "flower" is vanilla satin ribbon which I "pleated" (See photos below) using a scallop circle and our adhesive sheet. The brad is from our Antique Brads Collection. The Greeting is Word Play and our Framelits. the edges of all the card stocks were distressed using our distressing tool. Email me with any questions.

I adhered a piece of an adhesive sheet to crumb cake cs and punched out using the scallop circle punch. While the Vanilla satin ribbon was still attached to the roll, I began pleating it onto the sticky scallop circle. When I completed the first section, I moved to the "inner circle" and did the same.
When you're finished, you can use mini glue dots to tuck in the last piece of ribbon and "fix" any stragglers that need a little extra glue. Just pierce a hole in the center and insert an Antique brad.
Glad you liked it!
I have the pleasure of seeing an old friend for lunch today. She recently got married so I used the Mojo Monday sketch to make her a card.

I will post a supply list later today.
Enjoy!
I'm Sketch Challenge Happy this month! I am just loving these! Definitely gets the Creative Mojo going!
I love the bling! You can't really tell but there's a Rhinestone inside the flower and another on the ring.
Don't you just LOVE Mocha Morning DSP?! It's awesome! This card reminds me of a bordello! LOL!

Okay, so…I did a new Faux Acrylic Distress Video for you guys! This one is a CASE of a card in our Stampin' Success Magazine. If you have any questions about the technique, drop me an email.
Enjoy!

Stampin' Up! has a new Bigz L die! It's called "Petite Purse." It is adorable!!!! Beginning April 1st, you can pre-order the die before it appears in the next Idea Book and Catalog! To decorate the purse, I used a Technique I call "Faux Acrylic Distress."
I will be posting a full VIDEO and PDF hand out in the FREE VIDEOS section of my online "Classroom" at StampAcademy.com later this week so look for it!
(Special thanks to Joan Fitch for her info on dates and info!) 😀
Enjoy!!
I needed some Mojo this morning so I decided to try a sketch challenge! This is for one of my favorite "over-the-top" Bling-a-potamus kinda friends!
The tag pulls out so you can put a secret message in there.
The card is Melon Mambo card stock with Basic Black card stock run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder. I used Mocha Morning Designer Series Paper (velvet) cut with the Circle Scallop #2 Die in the Big Shot, Melon Mambo 1 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Whisper White 3/8" taffeta ribbon, 1/8" Basic Black taffeta ribbon, Rhinestones, Crop-A-Dile, and the Corner Rounder Punch.
The tag holder is Basic Black card stock cut at 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" and scored at 1 1/2". Fold it in half and then cut 1" from just the front portion of the tag holder. Round corners with punch. Adhere with one piece of sticky strip down the side.
The tag/insert is Shimmery White card stock 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" with corners rounded. "Friend" is stamped in Black Stazon ink using a stamp from Tiny Tags.
Enjoy!
At our last Team Meeting, one of my downline, Fran Trischetta, taught us to make cool flowers by taking ribbon or seam binding and pulling just one thread to gather it. I used that technique to make both the flower and the leaf.
