Paper Crafting can be EASY! Four words…Texture, texture, texture – and…yup…more texture!  You can create an entire card with just texture! Crazy but true!  I love Textured Impressions Embossing Folders! They take all the work out of creating!   You can emboss full quarter sheets of cardstock and then cut them up and use the pieces on different card making projects.  I made several of these this morning while my "stuff" was already out!  The center Medallion was creating using the Jumbo Sticky Rounds.  You can see how it's done HERE.

The Best of 25 Years Stamp Sets are released monthly by Stampin' Up!  in honor of their 25th Anniversary! They have a collection of favorites over the past 25 years.  One of my personal favorites is the Best of Greeting Stamp Set.  (Images below)  It has been my "go to" set over the past couple of months!

The center of the Medallion is accented using a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and a Large Pearl. It's fun to "layer" embellishments to create a totally new look!

Ask me how much I love Filmstrip!!!  Yes!  I know it's random but I love anything with Filmstrip on it!  I was THRILLED when Stampin' Up! came up with this stamp.  It is a Wood Stamp but I immediately converted it to a clear mount – which is simple to do.  You just peel the rubber off of the foam mount and put it on the Clear Mount Cling Foam.  Easy peasy!  So…I thought I'd pair the Filmstrip Stamp with the Chalk Talk Stamp Set 'cause that's another one that I love!  I know I love A LOT of things Rubber Stamping!  In fact, I love just about everything to do with Paper Crafting!  I'm so blessed to love my job!  I hope you enjoy the cards and projects I post.  I love your comments.  They really make my day!  So, thank you for that!

This Card uses some of my favorite colors – Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise – I tend to overdo things so I kept the front White without any texture.  I stamped the Filmstrip onto Whisper White Cardstock using Jet Black Stazon Ink.  The Tag from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set was stamped in White Craft Ink onto Basic Black Cardstock.  I then used a Sponge Dauber to sponge some Tempting Turquoise Ink on top which gave it just a hint of color.  I used the coordinating Chalk Talk Framelits (love 'em!) to cut out the Tag and then popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Tempting Turquoise Paper Flower was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  You can see an example of how it is done HERE.  I used Dazzling Details to add a glittery effect to the flower.  I put a Rhinestone in the center of the flower and another one at the bottom of the Tag.  Two additional Rhinestones were used at the edge of the Filmstrip.

Today's card uses the Dress Up Framelits and a flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack to create a wedding gown.  (I got the original idea from the dress on a Swap Card I received from Yvette Sanchez.)  I cut the top of the dress in the Big Shot but didn't let the Framelit cut all the way through the bottom.  I then used Paper Snips to cut the gown shape.  After punching all of the flowers, I attached them to the dress with Glue Dots – starting at the bottom and working my way up.  The belt is a piece of 1/8" taffeta ribbon with Pearl Basic Jewels on top.  The top of the dress was created using the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – as was the back layer of the card.  The cardstock is Shimmery White Cardstock.  I added additional Pearls here and there on the card to accent.  Different patterns of Modern Medley Designer Series Paper were used as accents.

The Sentiment is from the Express Yourself Stamp Set which is a Hostess Set.  It has a bunch of different greetings great for any of your Card Making needs! (See Stamp Set Below).  I used a Basic Black Stampi'n Write Marker to omit the word "you" and stamped "love" onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.  I then cut the banner out using Bitty Banner Framelits and mounted that piece onto another piece of cardstock (Basic Black).  I hand cut the rest of it and popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be found in my ONLINE STORE.  Don't forget to be a "Complete" Paper Crafter – Decorate the inside of your cards!  This one was accented with a strip of Modern Medley Designer Series Paper.

I have another variation of the To Have and To Hold card for Wedding Card Week at StampsAndScrapbooks.com. This one uses ribbon to soften the overall look.  There are three Textured Impressions Embossing Folders on this one!  Very Vanilla Seam Binding is the focal point of this card.  The double bow is gathered with a brad and then the top of the brad is covered with a Pearl Basic Jewel.  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be found in my ONLINE STORE.

Black and Ivory are classic Wedding Colors but they don't always "add" anything interesting to your card. For this one, I relied on texture to create that interest.  All you need is the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and a couple of Embossing Folders and you're good to go!  For this card, I used Basic Black Cardstock for the base card and then layered a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock passed through the Big Shot using the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The banner at the bottom is also Basic Black with a layer of Very Vanilla that was passed throught the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder. 

The Sentiment is from the Best of 25 Years Greetings Stamp Set.  The Best of 25 Years Stamps are issued monthly in celebration of Stampin' Up!'s 25h Anniversary this year!! If you'd like to see them, email me at Cathy@StampsAndScrapbooks.com and I will send you a monthly flyer when they're released!  "To Have And To Hold" was stamped in Jet Black Stazon Ink and then cut using the Deco Label Framelits and the Big Shot. The edges were sponged using Crumb Cake Ink and a Stampin' Sponge. To add depth, I adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Pearl Basic Jewels make a great accent to any card!  You can use different sizes on your cards.  You can even color them using Sharpie Markers!  The flowers on this card are from "Way Back When" Stampin' Up! carried them.  If you look around your Craft Space, you'll probably find lots of interesting embellishments for your Paper Crafting Projects!
