It's Day Five of Metal Madness at StampsAndScrapbooks.com! Today, I tried something new! I embossed the Black Metal Sheet (cut to 5 1/4" x 4") in the Beautifully Baroque Textured Impressions Folder and then SANDED the top with the Sanding System. I love the brushed metal look! Don't you?!!! I didn't even want to cover it up by putting anything on it! I adhered it to a Cherry Cobbler card. Then, I added a Ribbon Medallion and adhered it to the metal using a Jumbo Sticky Round. You can see a video of how to create the Ribbon Medallion HERE. The center is an Antique Brad.
The greeting is from the Express Yourself Stamp Set. It is stamped in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. The banner edge was cut using a 1" Square Punch. It is layered onto a strip of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and adhered the entire piece to the metal using Sticky Strip.
I had a scrap of the Black Metal so I ran it through the Big Shot in the same embossing folder and added it to the inside of the card. All Supplies are Stampin' Up! (except for the metal). You can purchase them in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for stopping by! ๐
